Don’t miss a rare opportunity to learn hands-on from an expert stockman with 40 years of practical experience with low stress handling and Holistic Management. With his engaging personality and practical down to earth, hands-on style, Guy has coached hundreds of people in his successful stock handling and ranch management methods.
The hands-on portion of this clinic is limited to 25 participants who will learn from Guy as they actually work cattle to accomplish specific tasks.
On-lookers are welcomed to observe and will also learn from this clinic. Everyone will be engaged by Guy’s nuts and bolts wisdom as a life long rancher and Holistic Manager.

Course Details:
Hands-on participants will work through a series of exercises with increasing levels of difficulty. Working time with the cattle will be monitored so as not to cause over heating or distress. Guy will present a slide show based on 40 years of experience exploring the benefits of planned grazing and how stockmanship is essential to good results.

About the Instructor:
Guy Glosson has been repeatedly recognized for outstanding land stewardship and livestock handling has over 30 years of experience in ranch management, low-stress livestock handling and consulting to farmers and ranchers. Down to earth, with an engaging style, Guy has coached hundreds of people in his successful management methods. Under his holistic approach to land stewardship, he has enhanced the fertility and profitability of the ranch where he has been a manager for the past 26 years. In 2011, he was recognized for his success with the award for Outstanding Leadership in Ranching from the Quivira Coalition, an organization dedicated to bringing together ranchers, environmentalists, scientists and public land stewards in the American West. Mesquite Grove Ranch, under Guy’s management, received the prestigious Lone Star Land Steward Award from Texas Parks and Wildlife.
