Spring has finally sprung, and we are enjoying the many benefits of the winter rains – from the lush grasses that signify healthy soil, to the burgeoning plant life around the riparian areas. There’s also a chorus of bird calls, the gurgle of a full creek, and the voices of various other wildlife taking advantage of the abundant habitat.
Join us for a walking tour of TomKat Ranch, home of TomKat Ranch Educational Foundation and LeftCoast GrassFed®. The tour includes an introduction to our mission, a history of the ranch, an overview of our grass-fed beef business, and an update from our on-site science partner Point Blue Conservation Science on their rangeland monitoring work at TomKat Ranch and beyond.
When: Saturday, June 3, 2017 – 10 AM to 12 PM
Where: TomKat Ranch, Pescadero, California
We’ll take you out into some of the pastures where native grasses are making a comeback, show you one of our riparian restoration projects, and have question and answer sessions along the way. At the end of the tour, you’ll have an opportunity to buy some of our delicious 100% grass-fed beef, so bring a cooler!
The tour is limited to 100 registered guests.
