Event Details

Carrizo Valley Ranch

9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Hosts:

Sid and Cheryl Goodloe

with

Western Landowners Alliance

Join fellow landowners and managers for a tour of Carrizo Valley Ranch, located in the southeast quadrant of New Mexico and owned by Sid and Cheryl Goodloe. They will discuss a variety of land management and ownership topics ranging from improved soil health and reduced erosion to increased forage production and water infiltration, reduced danger of catastrophic fire, and, ultimately, increased profitability.

WLA’s annual Stewardship in Action Tours provide an opportunity for knowledge-sharing, peer-to-peer networking and on-the-ground discussion about how western landowners can make their voices heard in the policy arena related to range, forest and riparian management. We hope you can join us!

Registration

They are asking $35 to help cover a “chuck wagon” lunch catered in the field and afternoon snacks. WLA members can register at the discounted rate of $25. Please plan on bringing your own lawn chair for the field lunch.

Space is limited. Click on the RSVP button below to register for the tour today!  Driving directions to the ranch will be provided after registration.

Thank you! Contact Lawrence Gallegos with questions. We look forward to seeing you at Sid and Cheryl’s on May 30th.
