The Women in Sustainable Agriculture conference happening in Portland, OR from Nov 30-Dec 2nd will have a few meat focused workshops. NMPAN‘s own Rebecca Thistlethwaite will be hosting the “After the Harvest” tour on Nov. 30th that will include a visit to Nicky Meats, a wild-game processor in Portland. Dec 1st join the Beef Breakdown workshop that will include NMPAN‘s own Lauren Gwin and Rebecca Thistlethwaite talking about beef cutting instructions, working with your processor, etc. You can also find Rebecca leading a workshop called “From Hoof to Plate: Business Essentials for Pastured Meat Producers” in the afternoon on Dec 1st.
