Event Details

What does it take to develop a successful livestock enterprise, manage grazing lands, stay financially sound, and keep the family involved and working toward a common goal?

GRASS-GRAZERS-FAMILY:  FINDING COMMON GROUND is designed to bring some of Colorado’s very best livestock enterprise entrepreneurs, animal behavior/health specialists, forage management experts, ecologists, economists, sociologists, and philosophers together for two days of top-of-the-line education and information.  Listen and learn from years of experience and study!  In addition to all of the informative talks, this event will feature demonstrations from installation of electric fence to use of drones on the ranch and how to pack mules for access into remote locations.

The Colorado Section of the Society for Range Management and Colorado State University Extension are pleased to provide this exciting educational and training opportunity to the public!  Special thanks to the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) for their support!
